About the FAA

The Fundraising & Alumni Affairs unit (FAA) was created in 2013 and its three strategic objectives are:

1. Develop Philanthropic Infrastructure: Consolidate, develop and maintain the supportive philanthropic infrastructure
2. Develop Philanthropic Relationships: Develop relationships with potential philanthropic donors and advance them through the pipeline’
3. Generate Philanthropic Revenue: Produce revenue for UWI through fundraising campaigns

The overall goal of the FAA is to develop its alumni relations and alumni base with a view to creating a philanthropic culture that would generate revenue for The UWI STA.

The value proposition that the FAA therefore brings is its ability to develop, coordinate, and rationalise the philanthropic funding needs of The UWI STA by developing and leveraging relationships with alumni, alumni organisations, as well as wider stakeholders and donors.
